What the warranty covers:
• Surface damage to countertops and wall cladding at time of installation, that are permanently installed within
a residence or other types of non-commercial properties.
• Cracking resulting from exposure to extreme temperatures or thermal shock.
• Stains caused by common food, beverages, and household products, provided that the recommended care
and maintenance guidelines have been followed.
• Fading from direct exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
What the warranty does not cover:
• Known visible defects present at the time of production or installation of the countertops.
• Essentia Stone® surfaces are designed to have a natural, non-uniform appearance; therefore, this Limited
Warranty does not cover variations in colour, shade or particle structure.
• Countertops that have been relocated from their original installation site.
• Cracking and chipping resulting from the impact of heavy objects or the movement, displacement, or
adjustment of the supporting structure beneath the worktop or flooring (such as kitchen units, floors, or
foundations) are not covered by this Warranty.
• Wear marks on Essentia Stone® products, such as metal marks, fingerprints, smudges, and other similar
indicators of use, are not covered by this Warranty.
• Products that have been treated with or coated in unapproved chemicals or finishes.
• Products subjected to abnormal use or conditions, or misuse (including chipping, cracking, impact damage, or
breakage due to customer negligence).
• Further repairs or adjustments necessary for re-installation, including plumbing, electrical work, or
construction-related tasks.
• Expenses related to transportation, manufacturing, assembly, and/or disassembly required for the repair or
reinstallation of a countertop.
